Meet OUR Pathologists

Dr. Washington Mudini is founder of the Digital Pathology lab.
He is MBChB (University of Zimbabwe), FCPath (SA).
He is an experienced general pathologist with a focused interest in liver pathology, formerly with NHLS.

Dr. Ngobese will be joining our team on 1 January 2026.
She is a South African pathologist with dual training in Forensic and Anatomical pathology. After completing her MBChB in 2001, she worked in internal medicine and neurology before obtaining specialist qualification in Forensic Pathology in 2010 and later advancing into Histopathology and Cytopathology.She has held posts at the National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS) and recently Lancet Laboratories, where she helped to establish and lead the Rustenburg Histopathology Laboratory, achieving SANAS accreditation for the unit.
Her areas of special interest include Perinatal and Placental pathology, Gynecologic pathology, Endocrine pathology, and Forensic histopathology.
Beyond her pathology work, she is an active volunteer in the running community, organising road races and supporting programs for disadvantaged and developing athletes.
